Clough Pond Beach Restoration

"For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."  Ephesians 2:10

What is the Clough Pond Beach Restoration Project?

Faith Community Bible Church could think of no greater way to serve the community than restoring the beach for all to use. At the moment Clough Pond has a steep pitch and more rocks than sand.  The Clough Pond Association, Selectman, and State of NH have agreed to a tiered beach allowing unlimited sand to be added as well as the grade to be more gradual.

Many hold Clough Pond dear in their hearts. A comment we have consistently heard is, “I used to go there when I was little. I am so happy it is being restored. We would love to go back!” People are excited. People want to help. We love our community. And we want to encourage it.  Faith Community Bible Church has just been the velcro to get the right people, organizations, and papers together to restore the beach.

What phase is the project in now?

There are five phases to this project: planning, local and state approvals, organizing, execution, and maintenance.

Because of an excellent survey by Stanley Prescott, the meetings with the Selectman, State of NH, Conservation Commission, and Clough Pond Association have all been favorable.  The Clough Pond Beach Restoration has been approved by the State.

We now have our permits and are finalizing our organization.  We are ready to move on to the execution phase of the Clough Pond Beach Restoration project!  Check back often - we will post dates and details here and on our FaceBook page.

How can I get involved?

We would ask you to pray first and foremost.  It has only been through prayer that we have gotten this far.  We would love to share with you the stories of what God has done.

We also seek your involvement when it actually comes to working.  Keep checking the website or our FaceBook page for the date we start. You are welcome to call the office at Faith Community Bible Church at (603) 783-4045 or email with any questions.
