WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
Step of Faith is all about introducing you to the heart of FCBC. Through the telling of the Faith Story by our lead teaching pastor, Joshua Owens, you’ll get a front-row seat in learning how Faith got its start. You’ll also learn about a few of our ministries to get a taste of how we are impacting our community in our own backyard as well as around the world. Our hope is that this first step will be an evening that shares the heart of Faith with others who might want to prepare their hearts to serve community as well.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
- GUESTS - Step of Faith is for our guests—whether you’ve come to one service or been attending her for months. Its designed for those in our community who are curious to know more about the ministry of Faith. If you are wondering whether Faith might be your church home, Step of Faith is the place to start.
- MEMBERS - Step of Faith is also for members—the FCBC leadership aspires for every member to attend a Step of Faith once a year. This makes it a great opportunity for you to introduce people from where you live, work, and play to the heart of your church. Please be praying for guests you can invite. Is it a neighbor, a co-worker, a friend, or a relative?
- AFTER ATTENDING - The next step for those who think Faith might be the church home they are seeking is to attend a Membership Class on Sunday mornings where you will learn more about who we are and why we do what we do.
Sunday, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. All attendees: Please bring two dishes: a main dish and either a vegetable or a salad to share. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
A children’s program is available for infants through 6th grade, advance reservations are required.
